For Small Businesses & Founder-Led Teams

Architect the system. Automate the busywork. Add AI that works.

Three things, in order. We design the system underneath your tools so the numbers agree, automate the repetitive work that's burying your team, then deploy AI agents on top of data that's finally clean enough to trust.

What we actually do

Three services. One connected engagement.

You can start with one pillar, or run them in sequence. Most clients do both: architecture first, automation inside it, AI on top.

01

System Architecture

The system underneath your tools.

Define ownership, source of truth, and data flow so the numbers finally agree.

02

Business Automation

Kill the busywork, permanently.

Automate lead follow-up, invoice chasing, handoffs, and CRM hygiene. Most fixes take under 15 minutes.

03

AI Agents

AI that works on your real data.

Deploy internal copilots, drafting, classification, and routing on clean data, not hallucination.

The Engagement

Five phases.
Eight weeks to a system you trust.

01

Discovery

60-min recorded call. We walk your full flow.

We walk your full flow and tag every place the system breaks. Pain is tagged by function (sales, delivery, finance, reporting) so nothing gets lost in generalities.

02

System Design

One document. The reference your team points at.

Every tool, every data flow, every ownership assignment. The reference your team points at in every future meeting.

03

Roadmap

Every fix, sized and sequenced.

P0–P3 priorities with explicit 'done when' criteria. You can run it yourself, we can run it for you, or we can split it. Your call.

04

Build

We ship. First win in week 4, full system in week 8.

First win live in week 4, full system running by week 6. All work happens in the client portal at clients.therunbook.co.

05

Retainer

Weekly syncs, async support, drift reviews.

Weekly syncs, async support, drift reviews. We keep the system honest as you grow.

Deliverables

Concrete artifacts.
Not slide decks.

Revenue Engine Map

The single diagram that shows how every tool, object, and automation connects. Versioned in your workspace.

System Design Document

Ownership assignments, schema definitions, sync gate specifications, naming conventions.

Optimization Roadmap

Prioritized, sized, sequenced. P0 → P3 with deliverables and "done when" criteria.

Client Portal Access

Your team sees projects, roadmap, system design, and can submit tickets. Real-time.

Weekly Syncs + Async Standups

Logged, searchable, indexed by function. Nothing lives only in Slack.

Full Documentation Ownership

Everything we build is yours. You can fire us and nothing breaks. No vendor lock.

Is this for you?

This works when the pain is architectural.

Good Fit

  • Small business or founder-led team, 3–40 people
  • Leads going cold, invoices chased by hand, or numbers that don't match across tools
  • Either your stack doesn't agree with itself or you have little automation yet and manual work is burying the team
  • Spreadsheets, Slack threads, and memory are holding together what a real system should handle
  • You want AI to actually help and you suspect the data underneath isn't ready
  • You want outcomes, not another tool recommendation

Not a Fit

  • Enterprise with an internal IT or data team
  • Solo operator with no team and no volume yet
  • Looking for a contractor to execute a spec you already have
  • Want the answer faster than a proper discovery allows

If you're not sure, the 15-min call tells you honestly. No pitch either way. 15 minutes is enough for me to understand your pain and for you to know whether I can actually help.

What It Costs

Transparent pricing.
Scope-based.

Starting At

$5,000 setup + $2,000/month retainer

Scope scales with: number of revenue objects in the system, tools in scope, delivery timeline, and depth of reporting layer.

The full price is quoted after the discovery call, never before. You see the scope, the sequence, and the number at the same time.

Guarantee 01

First-win in 30 days, or full refund.

Week 4 of the engagement, the CRM source-of-truth fix goes live. You see real reconciliation on your real data. If it doesn't, you get the setup fee back.

Guarantee 02

Reconciliation guarantee.

At end of engagement, MRR and pipeline numbers match across tools. If they don't, we keep working free until they do.

Guarantee 03

Documentation ownership.

Every automation, schema, and dashboard is documented and ownable. You can hand the whole system to a new hire or a new consultant tomorrow.

Honest Scarcity

We take 4 new engagements per month.

This isn't a marketing tactic - it's the real bandwidth of a practitioner-led practice. Spots open on the 1st of each month. If the calendar link shows no times in the current month, the month is booked.

Before You Book

The questions we get most often.

Can I start with just automation, or AI agents, without the architecture work?

+

Yes, but we'll be honest if we think the architecture needs fixing first. Automating on top of broken data just scales the mess. AI agents on messy data hallucinate. If your data layer is already reasonable, we can jump straight to automation or AI. If it isn't, we'll say so on the discovery call.

Do you replace the tools we already use?

+

Almost never. Most stacks don't need new tools, they need a system around the ones you already have. We keep what works, reassign ownership, install sync gates, and automate what humans shouldn't be doing. Rip-and-replace is a last resort, not a default.

Do you only work with agencies?

+

No. We work with small businesses and founder-led teams across services, B2B SaaS, and operator-run companies (3 to 40 people). The common thread is: your stack isn't behaving like a system, and manual work is burying the team. If you're not sure you fit, book the 15-min call and we'll tell you honestly.

What AI use cases do you actually build?

+

Internal copilots on your own data (RAG), drafting replies, classifying tickets and leads, routing requests, summarizing long threads, and answering internal questions from your docs or database. We don't build customer-facing chatbots on hallucination-prone stacks, and we don't sell AI strategy decks.

How long does a typical engagement run?

+

Eight weeks for the core build. The first win ships in week 4. The full system is live by week 8. Most clients continue with a retainer beyond week 8 for ongoing work: new automations, reporting, AI use cases, and catching drift.

What does the retainer actually cover?

+

Weekly 30-min sync, async support through the client portal, monthly stack health review, schema change reviews before anything gets deployed, and first-pass review on any new tool or AI use case your team wants to add. It's the guardrail that keeps the system from drifting back into chaos.

Can I run this myself instead of hiring you?

+

Yes, and many do. The Founder Revenue OS ($299) packages the same framework, templates, and sequencing we use on engagements. If you buy it first and later decide you'd rather have it built, we credit the full $299 toward the engagement for 90 days.

Next Step

15 minutes is enough
to know if this is worth doing.

The call is not a pitch. It's a diagnostic. I want to understand your pain and whether I can actually help. If I can, I'll tell you how. If not, I'll tell you that too.
